The Unified Communications Center (UCC) is a consolidated communications center and consists of District of Columbia emergency and non-emergency call taking functions, wireless and radio communications and the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Emergency Operations Center (EOC). TDC was responsible for managing the implementation of all technology systems associated with the facility.

Description of Work Performed
TDC served as the Technology Manager for the $118M District of Columbia Unified Communications Center. In this role TDC provided Project Management and IV&V services for the implementation of applications and infrastructure for seven (7) public safety systems supporting emergency and non-emergency communications of the District of Columbia. The systems of the UCC support the Office of the Chief Technology Officer, the Metropolitan Police Department, the Fire and Emergency Medical Services Agency, the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and the Office of Unified Communications.
